 "Angel of the Dark Ages" is one of those adventures that hooks you from page one. The story of two brave and intelligent Siamese cats, Angel and Skittish, tugs your heart in every direction as danger and mystery trickle through the story. The author has been simply brilliant with this unique fusion of action, emotion, and elements of fantasy—fittingly fitting for the category of young adult and cat lovers alike. The characters are fleshed out, and the relationship between Angel and Skittish is pretty well portrayed. It is, really, the core of the novel, and it was great to witness how they stood by each other through every tribulation.  "ANGEL" was my first book, inspired by one of my favorite companions—a feral cat who has become a cherished part of my evenings. Every day, I feed her, spend time with her, and have come to admire her unique personality. Along with her brother, Skittish, she has brought so much joy and wonder into our lives that it felt only natural to make them the heroes of my first novel. I wanted to tell a classic hero's journey through their eyes, celebrating the courage, resilience, and spirit I see in them every day.
